An Iftar mahfil in honor of the released leaders and workers, and praying for Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia's early recovery, was held in Joypurhat. The iftar mahfil was held at the Chatal area in Joypurhat last Saturday afternoon.
Kabi Abdul Hai Sikder, advisor to the BNP Chairperson, spoke in the chair of former District BNP President Mumtaz Uddin Mondal. Besides, BNP International Affairs Assistant Secretary Nazrul Islam Azad, Information and Technology Affairs Assistant Secretary Engineer Khalid Hossain Chowdhury, National Executive Committee members Faisal Alim and Engineer Golam Mostafa, District Jamaat Amir Dr. Fazlur Rahman Sayed, District BNP Joint Convener Abdul Wahab, District Lawyers Association General Secretary Shahanur Rahman Shaheen, Central Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal Joint Secretary Mahmuda Habiba, and others also spoke.
